Why is physical fitness a personal matter?

 Physical fitness affects the everyday lives of all people.  In most cases, your personality is reflected by your physical fitness level.  People who workout regularly tend to have a positive attitude, cope with stress better, and feel better about themselves compare to those who rarely exercise. However, being physically fit doesn't mean you have to workout in a 24 hour gym everyday.  Most people are physically fit base on their eating good habits, as we know as dieting. Physical fitness helps all around and is important to everyone.

How do some people neglect their health by choosing not to participate in physical activity?

People who lack physical activity are really hurting their body and health a lot. A body that rarely receive physical activity is less likely to fight off diseases and protect itself from possible danger.  

What are the primary health risk factors, and which ones may be controlled?

Some health risk factors are lack of physical activity, obesity, and diabetes. All of these risk factors can be controlled with good fitness.

What benefits are gained by exercising?

Exercising is a great way of staying healthy.  Exercise leads to weight loss and a healthier body.  It is one of the best method for relieving stress and helping you feel good.  If you have diabetes or asthma, exercising can minimize these health risk. It is important in your life even if it is a mild walk every morning. 

What is the relationship between wellness and personal fitness?

Wellness is your overall state of health which consist of:  Weight management, nutritional diet, exercise, social development, etc...  Your wellness depends on your personal fitness.  If you work out often and keep a good nutritional diet, you considered to have good wellness.  If you are the exact opposite of that, you have poor wellness.

What is a personal fitness program (PFP)?

A personal fitness program is your building blocks for becoming physically fit.  In you personal fitness program, you include your weekly exercises, diet plans, and how often you do these.  It's also made to fit you, and what can be better than that
